What to Expect During Your Appointments
Free Discoverty Call (optional)– 15 Minutes
A discussion about your health goals and expectations, an overview of our nutrition approach, and answers to your questions — with no obligation.
Nutritional Assessment – 60 minutes
During this initial appointment, your dietitian will take the time to understand your unique situation, including your needs, expectations, lifestyle habits, eating routine, medical history, weight history, relationship with food, and body image.
Depending on the time available, initial education or preliminary goals may be provided based on your individual situation.
No nutrition plan or meal plan will be provided during the assessment, as its primary purpose is to gain a thorough understanding of your profile and establish a solid foundation for the next steps in your care.
Nutrition Follow-Up – 45 minutes
Follow-up appointments are essential to making progress. They allow you and your dietitian to prioritize your goals, implement personalized strategies, and adjust them over time. You will discuss the challenges you encounter, as well as the successes that motivate you to keep moving forward. The frequency and number of follow-up appointments will vary depending on your needs. Our preferred approach focuses on achieving lasting improvements in eating habits without restriction. Strict plans and detailed meal plans are rarely used at the beginning of the process, helping promote changes that are realistic, flexible, and sustainable.
